Looking for Tires is very tiring...

Hubby and I with our body guard Nice who always want to tag along when traveling, went to Cagayan de Oro City to look for a 215/50/R17 tire to replace the two rear tires of our Mitsubishi Adventure.

I drove the car from Iligan to Cagayan de Oro City, my first long distance drive and it took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to reach our destination. A good achievement for a month old driver. lol

Hubby took over the wheel at Cagayan de Oro because I'm not familiar with the Cagayan de Oro City streets and restricted roads.

We went from store to store looking for the said tires but to no avail maybe because only few uses it. Since we bought the car at Cebu City maybe we can find the replacement tires there. Our only hope was our friend Erwin to look for it at Cebu City.

Since we're done with the searching, we spent the rest of the day strolling at SM City instead but before doing the SM adventure we took our lunch first at Sentro 1850.

I read about the restaurant in one of the blogs I visited and I asked my hubby to try the place. It was indeed delicious and nicely presented the ambiance is so cool too.

Hubby had a bric a brac baby back rib, I ordered a "empress chicken" and Nice ordered pork steak. (photos will be featured on Food Friday watch out for it)

Among our orders this is my favorite, "Squid Sotong" a crispy tasty small squid rings.

After lunch, we proceeded right away to SM Cagayan de Oro City.

Nice and I went to look for a perfect gift for our friend Mia Fe who's celebrating here birthday too that day. Ooopss sorry taking photos inside the shop is prohibited. Anyway since summer is on his way we bought to two pretty short pants for her.

Continuation of our memoirs will be posted later or probably next week.

Have a Nice Week!

  1. I would prefer to eat squid cooked this way, I do not like the ink.

I could understand the long drive, it is tiring! Good luck with your search for your tires!

I really appreciate if you can leave some footprints here. Have a Nice Day!
