Pinakbet ni Enang

Care for a pinakbet?

Hubby, Me, Nice and Joven tried this special pinakbet by Enang's Restuarant in Iligan City and it was indeed delicious.

Here's a little info about this yummy dish brought to us by wikipedia.

Pinakbet or pakbet is a popular Ilocano dish, from the northern regions of the Philippines, although it has become popular throughout the archipelago. The word is the contracted form of the Ilocano word pinakebbet, meaning "shrunk" or "shriveled". The original Ilocano pinakbetbagoong, of fermented monamon or other fish, while further south, bagoong alamang is used. The basic vegetables used in this dish include native bitter melon, eggplant, tomato, ginger, okra, string beans, lima beans, chili peppers , parda and winged beans. A Tagalogcalabaza. Most of these vegetables are easily accessible, and are grown in backyards and gardens of most Ilocano households. As its name suggests, it is usually cooked until almost dry and shriveled and the flavors of the vegetables are emphasized and accentuated by bagoong (shrimp paste). In some cases, lechon, chicharon, or other meats (most commonly pork) are added. It is considered a very healthy dish, and convenient in relation to the harsh and rugged, yet fruitful Northern and Ilocos regions of the Philippines. The history of this dish is derived from such.

  11. If it's a promise to get engaged one day then you can look for small diamond ring. A solitaire diamond has, for a extended time, been related to engagement rings as well as a coming big event. With the discovery of smaller-than-1-carat diamonds, the diamond industry started to market eternity rings and promise rings, featuring tiny diamonds around the shank.

  12. Many people prefer diamonds in their jewelry when a gift is being
purchased or gifted. The silver-lipped variety produces equally wonderful
pearls that are available in white to silver and
frequently have ros. It seems to me Apple is just looking out for their own public image.

Look at my weblog; promise ring zip
