Lansium Domesticum

Lansium Domesticum is a species of fruit-bearing tree from family of Meliaceae locally known in the Philippines as lanzones. It's orb-like fruit usually grows in cluster and each round fruit is covered by yellowish, thick, leathery skin. Underneath the skin, the fruit is divided into five or six slices of translucent, juicy flesh. (from wikipedia).

The lanzones fruits in the picture were photographed at Gingoog City. Our group decided to stopped by at the area to buy pasalubong. And lanzones in Gingoog that time are abundant and cheaper compared in Camiguin.

Happy Yellow Monday!
