Lee Dewyze is A.I. Winner

Just finished watching the result night of American Idol 2010, of course it wasn't "live" since the live show was aired earlier and I was at work. Yet I still watched it even though I read at the net who the winner was.
My guess was right  Lee was indeed declared winner, he was my bet after my favorite Casey James was voted out. Although Crystal Bowersox was a good artist I just couldn't get into her performances, maybe because I do not know the songs she was singing. And I was just star struck with Lee. Anyways congratulations to both of them they are both winners. Until the next season.

First Heartbeats

Yesterday I had a schedule with my OB after a week of medication for bacterial infection found in my urine sample last week. And after a week of mild medication I'm free from the infection thank goodness. My OB gave me another multivitamins to help me in my 7 more months journey to motherhood.

On my 10th week accordingly the baby is entering its fetal period. The average size is approximately 27-35 mm crown to rump length (CRL), or 1.06-1.38 inches. S/he weighs in at 4 grams, or 4 paper clips. Tiny toes have formed. The eyes are largely open, but the eyelids are beginning to fuse, and will stay that way until 25-27 weeks. External genitalia is beginning to differentiate. External ears are formed, as is the upper lip. The biggest accomplishment this week is the disappearance of the tail! (from about.com)

And I was able to hear for the first time our baby's heart beat, beating about 160 beats per minute. WOW I can't explain how I felt. I was so happy and excited finally we're going to have a child after 2 years of marriage. I can't thank you enough My Lord. wow!

I'll pray more to have a healthy baby after 6-7 more months.

Changes in Sleep during Pregnancy

I feel so sleepy during day time, at work or even at home. Why?

According to an article I've read at Women's Health Matters Network, expectant mothers may be the sleepiest of all.

Mother's-to-be often has day time sleepiness and longer hours of sleep at night during the first few months of pregnancy this is because the mother's body is hard at work forming the baby's body systems and progesterone levels are on the rise.

But later in pregnancy, many women tend to have poor quality sleep due to leg cramps, backache, heartburn, fetal kicks and frequent bathroom visitation.

Also, snoring will increase during pregnancy.

Well well now I know why... reading is so important for first time mother-to-be.

R for River

Let's play another ABC on a very fine Wednesday. My share today is R for River. I'm taking you to a part of Mandulog River in Iligan City, we're you can actually get near and touch the flowing water.

I hope wish rivers will be preserved and shall remain clean so that the next generation will enjoy and will know the beauty of a river with clean free flowing water.

Today in time for Food Trip Friday here's a 1 whole lechon manok (oven-grilled chicken) from Chooks that my husband bought for me yesterday. Although he's not a fan of chicken, but he had no choice but to buy 1 because I craved for one. lol

People At Work

Why do people work? hmmmm...

Each and everyone of us has reasons for working. We work because we get something out of it. We work because we need need to improve our quality of life.

Today for ABC Wednesday, I'll share to you some of the photos that I took of people at their respective working area.

Whatever work we are in to, we should love and be proud of it. Because life is not easy.

A Double Celebration

Time flies so quickly. Today, hubby and I will be celebrating our two (2) year anniversary as married couple. We don't have an out of town vacation today just what we had last year. Instead we will be celebrating at home, together with our friends. Our anniversary this year is the most blessed one because we will be having a baby in  eight months time, so this calls for a double celebration. A two year of togetherness and a thanksgiving party for  very wonderful blessing that we have recieved from God Almighty. He finally gave us our prayers. Thank you so much Our Lord, Our Savior.

A wedding anniversary is the celebration of love, trust, partnership, tolerance and tenacity.  The order varies for any given year.  ~Paul Sweeney~
