Long Live Our Country's New President

Yesterday was declared national holiday here in the Philippines to make way for the inauguration of our country's 15th President of the Republic in the person of President Benigno Simeon "Noynoy" Cojuangco Aquino III. Almost 500,000 fellow countrymen went to Quirino Grandstand while most of us in the provinces watched the most memorable event thru our television set yesterday to witness and celebrate the most awaited inauguration of our new leader that will bring new hope to our country.

His inaugural speech was one heck of promises and full of optimism, we just hope he will be able to fulfill them and of course those will not be possible if only one person will do the job. All of us Filipinos are obliged to help our leader to make those dreams come true.

Let us all move to a better Philippines.

Cheesy Pops Pizza

Last Sunday, our BFF (best friend forever) Nice went with us to Cagayan de Oro City, and while on our way I was able to convinced her to treat us for a Cheesy Pops Pizza at Pizza Hut SM CDO. I've craved for that particular pizza because the last time I ate one was on 2008. Imagine 2 years had gone by and I wasn't able to eat again, poor me. lol. Anyways, she finally agreed after long battle of reasoning lol..

Here's a family size cheesy pops pizza. I ate 2 slices while hubby and Nice ate 3 slices each. hmmm.. lugi pa rin ako dun ah.. hehehe

Another round of ABC on a Wednesday! Today's letter is "T" as in Transmission Towers.

This is a photo of a power transmission towers, linking people by transmitting and delivering power/electricity into their homes. Along side stand another tower and it is called a communication tower, used by a local mobile communication company.

Have a Nice Wednesday!

One Fulfilling Sunday @ CDO

Since I couldn't find any bigger clothes here in Iligan City I have to convince my husband to take me to Cagayan de Oro and last Sunday he finally did. My main purpose was to shop for a new wardrobe, why, because my pants, my shirts are starting to get so fit and small that is because my waist is starting to bulge. After I did my shopping, I was relieved that I was able to fill in my closet with new set of clothes that I can wear for the next seven months.

Next stop, shopping for my hubby's advance birthday gift. I had him chose what he wanted. Well, as expected he chose another wrist watch, I guess he's getting addicted to wrist watches. This time I bought him a citizen eco-drive watch (his choice of course) and I guess he's satisfied with his choice (I need to close my eyes while paying it..lol).

After buying my gift for him, it's time for him to buy his belated anniversary gift for me. lol... (ayaw patalo hehehe) My choice was, a point and shoot camera! yipppeee... My brother borrowed and never returned my casio point and shoot camera huh! bad big brother... Although I already had a DSLR camera (an anniversary gift last year from hubby also), I always want a point and shoot camera that will go along with me anytime anywhere. This year hubby's gift to me is another camera, a stylish pink Sony 12.2MP point and shoot camera. I guess I'm a camera addict too... lol
My Sunday was one fulfilling day. Thanks to my husband.
