My Preggy Tales

 mommy moments

Hubby and I went to an OB-GYNE for a consultation. I had a transvaginal ultrasound to check my reproductive system/organs and found out that my left ovary was polycystic while the right ovary has one egg and has not reached the desired size. The OB told me that the reason could be, I ovulate abnormally, maybe be late or early, that is why we're not able to get the right timing. Considering the egg size she recounted the days and told us to extend contacts on later days, that could be my fertile period. Also I had a pap-smear and the OB found and removed a small polyps at the opening of the cervix.

Meanwhile. hubby also had laboratory test a.k.a sperm counts and the result was normal.

After the series of test she told me to come back after I had my menstruation and will start medication. I came back indeed but this time with a (+) result. Yes I was able to conceived. Yipppee.. So instead of having medication to conceive, I had a pre-natal instead. lol.

Anyway, my pregnancy was not that difficult on the first to second trimester. I never experienced morning sickness, headaches, etc. but still was advised to be careful on the first trimester i.e. no car driving, no travels (hubby and I weren't able to fly to HK, na sayang ang ticket.. huh, but it's all worth it).

Also my appearance had changed a lot, black spots anywhere especially on my neck, a lot of pimples at my back (buti na lang hindi sa mukha), and was so so taba.

On the third trimester, my blood pressure was unstable (sometimes abnormal but most of the time normal, hehe), after the ultrasound at 7 months my baby was very tiny, seemed that I absorbed everything I ate.

And on my 36th week, right after the Pacquiao-Margarito match, my bag had ruptured, that was November 14, 2010. Same day 5:00PM hubby and I went to the hospital with ruptured bag of water but with no pain felt.

At 12midnight, labor pain had started. I never had even a minute sleep because of the pain. At 8:49AM November 11, 2010,  19 minutes after inside the delivery room, Javen Xyrus our bundle of joy, a pre-termed baby boy that weighed only 1980 grams approximately 4lbs and 6ounces was born on a safe normal delivery.

I thank God always for the experience and everything.

That's my first pregnancy tale. Have a Nice Day.

  12. I like your tummy, no stripes and all that, mine looked ugly :) Anyhow, glad to know you had a good pregnancy considering that the doctor has to remove polyps in your cervix. That was a tough decision for you to still conceive. God bless you to have a son. Come and see my Mommy moments here. Happy Mother's day!

  13. How cute is your baby? I think they were almost the same weight. Chloe is only 4 pounds and 14 ounces. I think we were in the same boat. We absorbed all the things we ate.. I ad also blisters in my tummy and near the breast.

    Happy Mother's Day!
