Pacifiers are must have for mothers, this may help soothe fussy babies, helps baby fall asleep and can reduce risk of SIDS or sudden infant death syndrome. Aside from these advantages, pacifiers also has disadvantages like, it can interfere breastfeeding if given early, babies can become dependent with it or can lead to dental problems.

Knowing these pros and cons, it's up for us mothers if we'll give our baby a pacifier or not.

In my case I've bought a pacifier for my baby, but he used it only for a shortest time because he throws up after sucking it too long.

  1. Yeah, I was never one to worry about how long our daughter used her paci - she gave it up when she needed to give it up.

  2. I remember my baby for that too and I have to get another one for my next baby on the way. Would love you to visit my ABC Wednesday page here.

  3. I never had a pacifier - or dummy as we call them here - in the house, but mum's need all the encouragement they can to be confident in their own skills and methods, so well done on a well-balanced perspective as well as the perfect 'p'. x

  4. My baby Camilla doesnt like pacifier, my husband bought 6 kinds of pacifiers hehe just for testing which one Camilla will like. And lucky one of them Camilla like but she use it very seldom specially when she is really sleepy so I put the pacifier she like and suck it for a while then drop from the mouth hehe.

This is one of my problem, I can not go out often since when she cry and nothing can stop her except fee her hehe.
