7 Years and Counting!

On the day Manny Paquiao fought the greatest fight of the century against Floyd Mayweather, Jr., it was also the day we celebrated our 7th year wedding anniversary. The fight was dubbed as the boring boxing fight of the century (good thing we did not avail “pay per view”), but our day was a fun one even though I had to rush to the office after lunch to process the second batch of data and to finalize the report. By 3PM I’m out of the office and have all the time to celebrate with my family and closest friends who surprised us by really coming over.

It was one simple celebration, with fewer foods to share and devour with a lot of “hi and hello” and funny conversations.

Oh, the cake! Well, I was planning to bake my first cake at night before, but since the three (Nyc, Mia and Jhong) came over, I wasn’t able to, instead I asked Nyc to get a cake from Red Ribbon the following day before coming over to the house. I was expecting a cake when I arrived home after work, but to my surprised and to her surprised there was none. Hahaha! She forgot, because they were in a hurry to watch Manny on TV.

Anyway, the cake was baked on May 3, 2015 evening! And the taste was all right, but not really good looking! Huh!

The gift!

Hubby and I decided to get a gift for both of us, like (equal sharing of the price tag), and this is what we got for ourselves, a 1TB external hard drive. Of course, I chose the color and the truth is, I asked him this gadget because my other HD has been already full, no more space for my newly downloaded Korean dramas. Hehehe

The movie date!

I have written about my plans and goals for this year that we had to go out and date as couple, minus the kids sometime. Finally, our plan was made true because on Monday evening (after work) hubby and I had our first movie date after so many years. We went to watch The Avengers: Age of Ultron at The Centrio Ayala Mall, our very first to hit the movie mouse after it was opened on October 2012. Can you believe that? Well, probably this our start, more movie dates in the future…

That’s it! Hubby and I had just celebrated our 7 years together as husband and wife and 14 years as a couple and we hope and pray for more happy years together as partners and as a family!
