Young Mindz and Tahanang Walang Hagdanan Wooden Toys

The last time I purchased something from Lazada was 2 years ago, when I received a voucher after my collaboration with them.

After years, of being dormant, I finally did another shopping spree with Lazada. I was actually looking for an educational toy for my son, a peg board that I have seen in one of his therapy sessions. I physically searched for it in most of the toys store in the city, but to no avail. My next option is to look for in online. Searching using iprice.ph, I found this set of number peg boards at Lazada. As you can see it, it’s very pricey and my budget cannot permit to purchase a P2000+ on a single toy. I ditched the idea of purchasing it, and look for another alternative next time.

But I still need a new set of toys that we can use at home for his follow-up therapy, toys that target the child’s fine motor and cognitive skills, because it seems like he already memorized most of the toys we have.

Young Mindz has a great line of educational toys. The first two I got were, the set of plastic Nuts and Bolts and the Wooden Montesorri Shape Sorting Board that I appreciated a lot because of the quality. This time I checked out some of their toys that I can consider.

From the wide selection, I chose four of them the Young Mindz Wooden Rotate to Match Blocks, the Wooden Geometric Sorting Playboard, the Pets and Vehicles Mix N Match Peg and the Wooden Cutting Fruit Set

Next stop are from the Tahanang Walang Hagdanan Collection. Two years ago after my son was diagnosed I searched for a set of wooden toys that we can use at home. Back then I also relied online, and landed at the TWH website. I ordered a total of P2000+ of wooden toys and ended up paying P600+ for the shipping fee. Too expensive, but still I risked, because of the needed items.

I am so happy that TWH already teamed up with Lazada, hence, I was able to get 5 sets of toys, namely; the Triangle Fraction, Square Fraction, Circle Fraction, the Geo Form Board and the Perception Puzzle Wooden Toys. These wooden toys were made by our brothers and sisters at the Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, Inc. “a non-stock, non-profit and non-government organization that aims to uplift the lives of the Orthopedically handicapped persons”

To sum it up, the toys above totalled P3,953 less 10% by purchasing it using the mobile application and the bonus is you’ll get free shipping for purchase above P1000. Definitely a good deal!

The items came in in three batches the first two to arrive are the TWH toys and two of the Young Mindz toys.

These two were the first to be released by Lazada, but were the last to arrive.

Since Lazada emails the updates of my purchases, I was able to track the packages and left the amount needed to pay them since I chose the Cash On Delivery option.

I must say I am a satisfied Lazada client because the items came within the targeted time frame and all were in good condition. I am looking forward for more purchases, next time.
